Heather Cook
Managing DirectorHeather is the Managing Director of Ripple Scale, bringing over 25 years of experience working at the intersection of health systems, policy and digital innovation. She began her career at a leading consultancy focused on large-scale health reform, before moving into national transformation roles and later co-building digital health ventures from early-stage development through to NHS-commissioned services.
This combination of experience has given her a rare, end-to-end perspective - from system design and policy intent, through to the realities of commissioning, procurement and real-world adoption. She has seen first-hand how and where progress breaks down, both for innovators trying to scale and for health systems trying to adopt effectively.
Heather is an NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellow, an elected member of the health and social care council at techUK, and an elected Director at the same organisation, and a Trustee of a national charity. She brings to Ripple Scale deep practical expertise in commissioning models, integrated care delivery and the structural barriers to scaling innovation - and is now focused on building a new approach to how digital health reaches patients at scale.
Leon Young
Executive ChairmanLeon is the Executive Chairman of Ripple Scale and the founding CEO of Cogniss, the specialised no-code platform for digital health. A serial entrepreneur and a pioneer of the no-code technology movement, he co-founded Nocode Inc in the 1990s before going on to co-found the agency 2and2, specialising in the application of psychology to the design of digital solutions for behaviour change. It was through this work and later through years of building Cogniss that Leon saw the same pattern repeat: clinicians and researchers could build valuable digital health products, but no infrastructure existed to get them adopted by health systems and into the hands of patients. He took radical ownership of that gap and founded Ripple Scale, the digital health publisher, designed to bridge it at scale.
Dr Lloyd Humphreys
Commercial AdvisorLloyd is the Commercial Advisor of Ripple Scale, with deep experience in digital health innovation across the UK and internationally. He began his career in the NHS as a clinical psychologist before founding Breaking Free Online, the world's first digital therapeutic for addiction. An NHS Innovation Accelerator alumnus, Lloyd has led and scaled multiple industry-first healthcare businesses, including Patients Know Best, the world's first patient-controlled medical record; SilverCloud, the first-to-market online therapeutic solution; and ORCHA Health, which launched the UK's first Digital Health Formulary. He is currently the Managing Director of Cogniss.
Randy Olan
Randy brings over 30 years of IT industry experience, with a career marked by the management of large-scale projects at major enterprises such as Sydney University, News Ltd, Telstra, and Macquarie Bank. Since 2009, Randy has been instrumental in delivering health and behavior change applications for 2and2 and Cogniss, proving his skill in navigating complex technological environments. As the Chief Information Officer of Ripple Scale, Randy leads the company’s architectural, security and compliance strategy in digital health.

Joseph Barry
Joseph is the Sales Lead of Ripple Scale, with a 15-year track record in business development, global marketing and capital raising across London and Sydney. He has a passion for helping health providers deliver the best trusted digital care to their patients at scale. His previous roles include heading up a healthtech capital-raising platform as General Manager, leading digital transformation at one of Australia's marquee private wealth firms, and guiding operational strategy for a biotech IPO on NASDAQ.

Niv is the Marketing Lead of Ripple Scale. She has 20 years experience in marketing, strategy and analytics across India, Hong Kong, Australia and UK markets. Niv takes a data-centric approach to building brands, and driving growth. Her experience spans leading marketing for a fashion-tech startup in India through to its acquisition by a Korean conglomerate, leading global initiatives for HSBC, and shaping the acquisition strategy for Australia's largest renovation educator. She is passionate about telling the stories of people making a difference.
